2013 QHRAI Speed Sale Information
The deadline for entries to the July 20th Speed Sale is quickly approaching.  They must be postmarked by June 7th.  Please take a look at the information by clicking here to get your horse nominated to be in this sale.  Discounts are available for multiple horses.  Sale is at C BAR C Arena, new location all under one roof.

The Quarter Horse Racing Association is sponsoring it's 3rd annual Speed Sale for yearlings, 2 year olds, horses of racing age, broodmares, weanlings and barrel prospects on July 20th at the C Bar C Expo Center, Cloverdale, Indiana.  The Contract Deadline is coming up fast and they must be post marked by June 7th.  Don't miss the opportunity for multiple horse discounts, a $5,000 bonus to the consignor of the horse that earns the most money racing in Indiana in 2014, and 2 stake races in 2014 exclusively for horses that go through the QHRAI Speed Sale Ring.  Contact Valerie Smith at 812-223-2843 with contract questions.

CONSIGNMENT FEE:
•1-2 Horses: $200 or $250 if paid from proceeds.
•3-4 Horses: $175 or $225 if paid from proceeds.
•5 or More Horses: $150 or $200 if paid from proceeds.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS*
  • •AQHA Registration Papers
  • •Signed Transfer
  • •Coggins is required. (within 12 months of sale date)
  • • Health Certificate is required for all out of state horses.  (within 30 days of sale date)
  • • Pregnant mares MUST be vet checked in foal 30 days prior to sale and a written statement from vet must be on file.
  • • State Bred Certificates, if applicable

ATTENTION CONSIGNORS:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
  • Consignment contracts must be received by June 7, 2013.
  • •Hip numbers will be assigned and catalog preparation will begin immediately following the deadline.
  • •Late entries will not be included in the catalog.
  • •Check in will begin at noon on Friday July 19, 2013.
  • •Horses MUST be in a stall by 9AM the day of sale or they will not be sold.
  • •There are no guarantees, the sale is final when the hammer falls.
  • •Commission is 5%, or $150 whichever is greater (2% for buybacks).
  • •Minimum bid is $500.
  • •No Credit Card Sales.
  • •Payment to sellers will be made no sooner than 14 banking days after the last day of sale.

The QHRAI board of directors approved to have a $5000 bonus paid to the consignor of the horse that races in 2013 and earns the most money at the track.  This would be awarded at the QHRAI banquet.
