Finance Committee - (Association and Gaming Revenue)

Goal:
•Keep accurate records of payments out of and deposits into the QHRAI Association account and the Gaming Revenue Accounts
•Provide monthly reports at the regularly scheduled QHRAI Board Meetings
•Assist Accountant with filing Annual QHRAI Taxes
•Assist Accountant with completing yearly audit based on Agreed Upon Procedures in IHRC Application
•Ensure annual premium is paid for QHRAI Bond Insurance
•Obtain New Accountant to work with QHRAI

IHRC/ Application Committee

Goal:
•Create and Present the 2013 QHRAI Application to the IHRC.  Application is due to IHRC office in September, presented at IHRC meeting in November for approval.
•Receive approval as the sole organization representing Quarter Horse Racing in Indiana
•Provide Input to Commission requests on current issues and submit requests to the IHRC on QHRAI specific issues.

Race/Purse Committee - (Track – Open Races and Purse Account)

Goal:
•Determine open purse account balance at each track and prepare projections of gaming revenue deposits to establish projected budget
•Prepare proposed race recommendations and budgets at each track (based on gaming revenue projections, race conditions and average purses
•Present to the Indiana Downs and Hoosier Park Track Management as input into their  creation of the 2012 QH race program
•Give regular updates to Board of Directors tracking the purse accounts

Promotion and Marketing/Communications

•Budget and outline for marketing promotions on and off the track.
•Establish budget and annual outline for marketing campaign.
•Work with committees and identify advertizing and marketing needs for the committees
•Submit QHRAI news and advertizing to Horse Resource by the 15th of each month, unless specific events require later deadline.

Goals:
•Be the point of contact for directors and horsemen to call to take care of ordering flowers, sending cards and elevating benevolence concerns to the Board of Directors for consideration.
•Ensure board approved benevolence actions are followed through with.
•Make sure Tina has set up an account to be direct billed to QHRAI so no flowers have to be ordered and paid for out of pocket.

•Be a contact for horsemen to bring issues, questions and concerns to
